LABORATORY

The laboratory is equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment and is able to provide sampling and analysis according to the GOST as well as international standards ISO, ISS and GAFTA.

High-precision instruments, many of which have no analogues in the Baltic region, allow to determinate the main quality parameters of grain, flour and oilseeds. For more operational management processes express-analyzers providing results on-line. Every half-a-year the sampling analytical laboratory of the terminal confirms its compliance with GAFTA requirements.

On 19 April, 2010 the laboratory received accreditation certificate confirming its compliance with international standard LVS EN ISO / IEC 17025. The accreditation of the laboratory was carried out by the Latvian National Accreditation Bureau LATAK, which, in turn, is a party to the multilateral agreement of the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA MLA). Thus, the status of the laboratory of the grain terminal was confirmed throughout the European Union. The scope of laboratory accreditation includes grain and oilseed crop and air quality in the working environment testing, as well as environmental monitoring methods. The obtained accreditation certificate is a confirmation of high competence and reliability of the results of the laboratory, and also gives an opportunity to provide commercial services in this area.
